Some ‘travelling’ companions and random links:
Some of my closest travelling companions in these past years have been Roger & Sue Mitchell. Gayle and I seek to make sure that in the course of each year we have some concentrated time with them. Check out Passion to see how they are seeking to be a resource and also 2mt.org.uk. Roger’s doctorate is an invaluable resource for any consideration of a new shape for society.
Likewise Chris Seaton has been a faithful friend and has pursued many pathways amidst humility as he has served humbly in helping people understand and experience reconciliation.
Ben Gray is from CityHarvest Church Brisbane, and the founder of the Australian Prayer Network. He is the author of Heaven’s Answer to Earth’s Dilemma, Obtainable Wisdom and founder of Vocations 4 Life.
DNA is a flexible training course. I have taught on it over many years and can highly recommend it.
Liquid Connection working where I was based when I lived in Leatherhead… working across that community. Check out also B@titude, a shop, a social enterprise, but much more. A tool for transformation.
Claire Hollywell is an artist and her work helps support her involvement with Roland and Heidi Baker in Iris ministries.
Noel Richards – singer / songwriter, visionary behind ‘Champion of the World’ and ‘Calling all nations’
Try Godfrey Birtill’s site. He is a worship leader with a difference. He is writing songs that are revival songs, and I have had the privilege of working with him on Sowing seeds for revival on different occasions.
Also in Northern California is a church and ministry that I have been associated with since 1998. Bill Johnson is a remarkable teacher and there are many genuine miracles that take place in numerous settings there. You can also download a ‘sermon of the week’. Bethel Church.
N. T. Wright is a major influential New Testament writer – anything of his you can get hold of is of great value: N. T. Wright page.
Software…
For all those who wish to break free from Microsoft windows… yes there is apple… but how about open source software. I have used Ubuntu (a linux ‘distro’) since 2005 and have no desire to go back. It runs fast and is not resource hungry. (Much of the web is powered by linux; it is virtually virus-free: I have not run an antivrius program on my computers since switching to linux.) You get free software and you are not supplying the funds of a certain all-but complete monopoly.
Check out ubuntu.
Because this site has at its core a regular blog, I now use what I consider is the best blogging software: wordpress and I formerly used the very flexible Thesis theme. I now work with two themes Thematic or with the _sUnderscores starter theme. Want me to design you a theme?
