Like the sand and the mud, the snow is a good medium to see footprints. Of course not seeing footprints on other places does not mean that we have not walked there!
As in life we do not see the imprint that we leave in people’s lives and on nature, but from time to time we get a glimpse of how our walk affects those around us.
Sometimes we need that reminder to ensure that our paw prints are light, encouraging and have a good, healthy long-lasting effect.

See how the lilies of the field grow. They don’t labour or spin.
Yet not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these!
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you?!

I love the illusion of an unending sea of snow broken by a bit of building reminding you that underneath all that snow there is an abode. It’s good that we can be cosy inside!
