Golden voyage

On Sunday we were invited out on a boat with our spanish neighbours. The boat is a vintage 1971 beauty. It rained all day but thankfully the water was calm enough although when we anchored down for lunch we rolled around a fair bit -not so conducive for eating! Our neighbours challenge us so much: they’re home is open, they see and look out for countless people of all ages and types, they are feeding people constantly both physically (much paella among other delights) and emotionally.

Anyway, it challenges us, we stumble around with the language, only know a handle of people and most days it feels like we have little effectiveness. All part of the learning on this Spanish voyage I guess!

Dry Shades of Gold

We tried to walk up this Dune…..sliding down was a lot more fun !
It was fascinating The “Absolute Quietness of the Desert ” and the beauty that has been created in a few ?? grains of sand.

After the storm

I took these photos from my apartment in Palma.

The rain may come, but the sun is never far away!
