The LifeLine

In the fourth volume I try and bring the former volumes to a landing place, with a focus on the 'Pauline Gospel'. I am not suggesting that his gospel is essentially different to another apostolic gospel, but given that a) he develops it with his writings and b) his work is beyond the first phase of the gospel to the Jews, how he adapts the outworking of the eternal gospel is very instructive for us. My original intention was to write further volumes, first on eschatology and then on ethics, and those might yet come through but they might be better developed in discussion, and approached more dynamically, rather than the 'final conclusion' that writing often seems to imply.

For this final volume I plan to schedule 3 ‘formal’ sessions with pre-work, as we will not take the book chapter by chapter. Beyond the formal sessions I think we are likely to see how it can be developed beyond, so the number of sessions will probably spin on beyond the 3.

As before to get the best out of the sessions there is a small amount of PRE-WORK that consists of a combination of articles, videos, podcasts and questions. That together with the some chapters in the book will prepare you for the session.

The pre-work is optional but recommended. The post-work is entirely optional.
